This is a good beer to try. I liked it a little more than the Young's but you can't go wrong with either really.

Poppy - That's why God and the IRT invented subways. Yeah, dessert beers are generally sweeter and higher in alcohol. The last one was served in a port wine glass. Delish!

I prefer my beers to be fruity if they're going to be flavored and I'm not super stoked over bocks aside from double bock with high abv :) but the bottle is cool so maaaaaybe I will try it.

You've now made me want to do an Italian beer tasting! Yum...

Is it common for the highest abv beverage to be served last in a tasting? I guess that's what makes it dessert-y but I wouldn't want to try to drive home after. :)

Callie - I have two very cool sources for my beer. My local beer distributor is run by a woman who gets very excited for good craft beer and she always points me toward any new offerings. But the second is the woman I live with and love. Gia is a sales rep for a craft beer distributor here in NY. Hardly a day goes by without her bringing home some samples for her man. One of the companies she represents is Southern Tier, so she is the one who turned me on to them.

Soho - well it sounds like you are in the neighborhood. :)

Marty - They were so good, even I liked them. And that is saying something, because I normally can't stand them!
